Let's face it: without the internet, bioinformatics would never work as it does Therefore, IMpilo has to provide the necessary applications to communicate and acquire the necessary day-to-day information needed by a bioinformatician. As always, to keep Impilo focused on its main task, no chat application for us!

The file named internet_module.txt has the list of Internet access applications that I selected. Of course, its content will change according to Ubuntu evolution and/or users' feedbacks. In addition to this list, the bibliographical management module Zotero is added through Firefox's own installation framework for modules.

Finaly, we use the sshfs filesystem through FUSE to access remote folders on our servers as if they were locally installed.
