Because so much of the data coming into bioinformatics these days is image-based (i.e.: high-throughput sequencing and cell-based screening), Impilo needs to provide its users som tools to create and edit images. This is also necessary to put images in context for presentation and publication. For this, we need to provide the best we can find in their field.

The file named graphics_module.txt has the list of the selected image manipulation tools that I selected. Of course, its content will change with the passing of various Ubuntu distros as well as according to users' comments.
